Billy Ward Trio Rehearsal Tapes & Live Videos

The day was September 17, 2008. The location was a modest lakeside home in up-state New York. Three men. Two microphones. Eight songs. Forty Six minutes of aural bliss.
Then only the day later, at an intimate club in Manhattan, two brilliant videographers captured the elusive jazz monster on film.
The premise is simple. It is up to YOU to set the price for this footage. it costs money to produce this stuff, so we hope you are willing and able to help out with the costs. You won’t hear music played well in this world if the musicians cannot afford to play it, or record it, or videotape it.

Out the Door, the Billy Ward Trio
"I absolutely love this very musical CD...Billy plays with such a great touch and feel, and the sound of the recording is amazing... A completely wonderful listening experience"
- Dave Weckl
"This is the coolest music I have heard in a very long time. I think it's the hippest Jazz I've heard in a long time. Your playing is very different from what I am used to hearing from you and I really like it. It sounds great too, and it definitely has a great "live" vibe. love the compositions, very cool and slick in a slightly "leftfield" kinda way. Great stuff!" - Thomas Lang
Buy it for your own collection at Billy's Store. Or, you can purchase and download tracks individually from our friends at DigStation.
